Massena LAB x Revolution Uni-Racer 1949
Last week, Massena LAB introduced their latest creation in collaboration with Revolution Magazine: the Massena LAB x Revolution Uni-Racer 1949 Swiss chronograph featuring vintage styling, glossy black dial and eye-catching, luminescent Roman numeral sector track.
Massena LAB and Revolution came together due to an existing friendship, specifically that of William Massena (founder of Massena LAB) and Wei Koh (founder of Revolution), as well as both sharing a mutual appreciation for vintage watches – especially stainless steel chronographs from midcentury.
Vintage fans and connoisseurs will quickly recognize that the Massena LAB x Revolution Uni-Racer 1949 draws its inspiration from an almost inaccessible Patek Philippe dating from 1949, which inspired its dial.
This dial’s most striking characteristic is its raised, luminous sector track with Roman numerals and generous lume. To match its vintage model perfectly, SuperLuminova was specially created and its glow much brighter. Hour and minute hands feature blued steel filled with this luminescence while chronograph and subdial hands come complete with matching white lume.
Anti-scratch acrylic crystal is designed to match the vintage styling of the Uni-Racer 1949.

This stainless steel case measures 39mm by 13mm. Kyburz Cie. in Switzerland provides acrylic crystal with anti-scratch treatment engraved with their logo and “One of 120.” M LAB signature and Revolution star logo complete this watch’s features.
Movement: Swiss manual Sellita caliber SW510 Elabore, featuring 23 jewels, 28,800 VPH frequency and an ample power reserve of 58 hours; its functions are hours, minutes, small seconds and chronograph.
Glossy black dial with SuperLumimova setter dial and blued steel hour and minute hands featuring SuperLumiNova illumination, “Base 1000” Tachymeter. 20mm deerskin leather strap manufactured in Italy featuring Massena LAB stainless steel buckle for secure wearing experience.
MSRP for this item is $3,750; it comes packaged in a Massena LAB Uni-Racer box along with an instruction manual and NFC card from Massena.
