A Masterpiece in Perpetual Precision

Between 2025 and 2026, Naoya Hida & Co. will produce only 10 pieces of the NEW NH Type 6A.
This rare dress watch features a perpetual calendar and blends Japanese handcraft with Swiss mechanical excellence.

First Use of Argentium Silver Dial

For the first time, the brand uses Argentium silver, chosen for its tarnish resistance and subtle warmth.
To elevate the design, Keisuke Kano hand-engraved all Roman numerals and sub-dials for the calendar functions.
As a result, the dial feels both technical and deeply traditional.

The Argentium silver dial combines traditional materials with high-tech finishing techniques.
For example, the minute ring is made of applied components, adding depth and structure.
Meanwhile, engraved scales and logos were machined using ultra-precise micro-milling tools.
Then, artisans filled each marking with synthetic Urushi lacquer by hand.

The finishing continues:

  • 18kt yellow gold hands, polished by hand

  • Blued steel hands for all calendar indicators

  • The minute hand’s tip is hand-curved to follow the outer scale

How Big Is the NH Type 6A?

The SUS904L stainless steel case measures 37mm wide and 11.5mm thick—ideal proportions for a refined dress watch.
It also features a curved sapphire crystal, a display caseback, and offers basic water resistance for daily wear.

Caliber 3025PC: A Collaborative Creation

Inside, the manual-wind Caliber 3025PC beats with precision and intent.
Naoya Hida developed it in collaboration with Habring² and Dubois Dépraz, two respected names in horology.
He credits Maria and Richard Habring for their commitment and technical support.

  • 19 jewels

  • 28,800 vibrations per hour

  • 45-hour power reserve

  • Displays: hours, minutes, day, date, month, leap year

Strap and Finishing Touches

The watch comes on a 20mm ILCEA Radica Russian leather strap with contrast stitching and calf leather lining.
Crafted by THE SOLE, the strap offers both comfort and craftsmanship.
Finally, it secures with a steel pin buckle for a timeless finishing touch.

How Much Is the NH Type 6A?

The MSRP is $57,300, which reflects the piece’s rarity, handmade artistry, and technical achievement. It’s definitely on the pricier side for a steel perpetual calendar watch but without a doubt, it’s definitely more rare and exclusive than a lot of other brands out there!

Due to the unpredictable and volatile market on certain Rolex, Patek Philippe and Audemars Piguet watches, prices are subject to change.
