There are some brands in the world of niche luxury watches that have a unique design and craftsmanship. The high-end independents are a highly sought after and growing category over the last few years. Fleming is the latest addition to this  prestigious list.

Birth of Fleming

Thomas Fleming is a passionate young watch collector who has created his own brand. Fleming, with the assistance of James Kong (a prominent watch collector and photographer) as its COO has made waves among collectors since it teased the release date in 2023.

Collaboration and craftsmanship

Fleming Series 1 was developed in collaboration with GPHG Award winning top tier technical master watch makers, Jean Francois Mojon, of Chronode who developed the movement, while Kari Voutilainen, from Comblemine, crafted the dials. The watch shows what is possible when great mind comes together!

Special Editions

Series 1 is available in three different variations. 7 pieces in rose-gold, 9 pieces in platinum and 25 pieces in tantalum. Each watch is individually numbered, and has unique dial sector variations to complement the material of the case. 

• Tantalum Dark gray track with dark turquoise aventurine dial inner and sub seconds.
• Rose Gold: Gray guilloche contrasted with champagne hammering.
• Platinum : honey gold and metallic brown patterns.

Detail Case Design

This 38.5mm Series 1 case is the perfect blend of modern and classic design. The midcase is brushed and polished in contrasting colors, which leads to the engraved Fleming Logo on the crown. Skeletized horn lugs add a contemporary and elegant dimension to the case. Case has a double personality. Classic and opulent on top, and modern and architectural when viewed from the sides.

Dial and Movement

This dial features a range of finishes, and the back of the watch reveals the technically advanced Caliber FM-01. Chronode developed this Swiss manual-winding movement with 21 jewels and 28,800 vibrations/hour (vph). It has a 60 hour power reserve. This movement features Raul Pages’ signature Poincon pages, as well as wide Cotes de Geneve and hand-chamfered edge.

Fleming has already begun planning for future releases. One of these is a version of Series 1 that focuses on sport, called Series 1 Ghost. The model was developed with the Norwegian Tennis Pro Casper Ruud. It will be light and resistant to shocks, showing Fleming’s dedication to balance utility with elegance.
